Our origins

Sourced direct from India’s finest origins

We work across Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh's Araku Valley — direct tie-ups with growers, curing works and estates, so a lot can be traced back rather than merely described.

Chikmagalur · Coorg (Kodagu)

India's largest coffee state and the centre of our sourcing. Chikmagalur and Coorg grow both species under shade, and between them they supply most of the washed Arabica and washed Robusta in this catalogue.

Arabica lots from this region

Karnataka · Kerala · Tamil Nadu · Araku Valley — four regions, one promise.

Our coffee range

Two species. Six grade tiers.

Green coffee, Robusta and Arabica, from blend-ready commercial lots to specialty and traceable parcels.

How the coffee is made, not just what it grades at.

Washed, natural and honey across both species, with aerobic, anaerobic and co-fermentation where the lot calls for it.

Why Sora

Sourcing close to origin. Buying with clarity.

We are not a plantation or a single curing works. We are a sourcing partner across India’s coffee-growing states — close enough to the ground to match you to the right origin, grade and lot size, and honest enough to tell you exactly what’s in the bag.

Our story
Consistent grading

Lot-by-lot checks against the specification we agreed with you, not against a house standard you never saw.

  • Every lot screened, cupped and graded
  • Shipments match the agreed specification
  • A lot that fails the check does not ship
Flexible volumes

From a sample lot to a full container load, in the packaging your market actually sells in.

  • Sample lots through to FCL
  • Jute, GrainPro, vacuum or private label
  • FOB, CFR or CIF by destination and volume
Close to origin

Direct tie-ups with growers across four growing regions, so the lot can be traced back rather than merely described.

  • Direct farmer relationships, not a broker chain
  • One team from enquiry through to sailing
  • Grading discipline learned at the table, not from a desk
